I grew up in Saxeville, a small community outside of Waupaca. I graduated from Wild Rose High School . I earned an associates degree in Mortuary Science from Milwaukee Area Technical College in West Allis . I have worked in funeral service since 1992 and have been a licensed funeral director since 1995.

I am proud to be a funeral director and very happy to be back home serving my community. I am a member of the Waupaca Kiwanis Club, serve on the Board of Directors for the Waupaca Area Chamber of Commerce and a member of the board for the Waupaca Pregnancy Information Center .

I was born and raised in Waupaca, attended a year of college at UW-Stevens Point, then earned my associates degree in Mortuary Science from Milwaukee Area Technical College. I became licensed in 1999 and worked in the Fox Valley area for six years. In 2005 I took my life insurance exam and now am also a certified life insurance intermediary.

Community service is one of my priorities. I am a member of both the Waupaca Lioness and the Optimist Clubs. I currently serve on the board of directors for the Fox River Valley Funeral Directors Association. I also work part-time at the local hospital. When I do have some free time, I play the violin at area nursing homes and churches and also with the band Old Time Sounds
